The Ai pattern files can be opened in vector editing software like Adobe Illustrator or a free tool like Inkscape, and the PNG files are 3600×3600 pixels. The vector files are the original files that can be used to edit the patterns, such as scaling or recoloring them. The AI files are the most crucial, especially if you want to enlarge the playful patterns.
Although some designs are only available in black and white, they can obviously be colored differently. You could, for instance, change them from positive to diapositive or vice versa. After that, you could add your chosen color to the pattern. With a little creativity, you can customize and produce diverse variations for each pattern design. I leave that up to your creativity.

Yes. All pattern files have been created using Adobe Illustrator and are vector based. Please make sure you have at least Adobe Illustrator 10. You can also open them with other programs like GIMP, Inkscape, or Photoshop.
How many colors are the seamless pattern designs?
It depends, this is a mix of various pattern designs, some are in full color, and some are only 1 color. If you want, you can change the colors.
Are these seamless pattern files free to use?
No, you have to purchase the playful pattern files. After the purchase, you can use them for your projects, personally and commercially. These files are not free and may not be distributed without permission.
You are not allowed to upload these playful patterns to free-to-download websites such as Pixabay, Pexels, or similar sites.
Can I resell these playful pattern files?

Yes. The download includes PNG and JPG files. Both are raster-based images that can directly be used for your design project. The PNG and the JPG files have a white background.
Can I edit the colors from these playful seamless patterns?
Yes, you can. Using a vector-based program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape, you can edit the colors. And for some designs, you might also use Photoshop to do that.
What are vector files?
Files saved in common vector art file formats like AI, PDF, or EPS are considered vector files, unlike PNG files, which are raster files. Vector images can be resized or enlarged without losing sharpness. Any size with perfect resolution can be printed from the vector graphic after saving it. Even when the image is resized, the graphics can still be used on the Internet without losing quality.
Can I share the downloaded playful pattern files with other people?

How to create a seamless vector file
To create a seamless vector file you will need a vector drawing program. There are many of these available on the Internet. Some of these are free, while others are paid programs. The most popular paid programs include Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Some of the free programs you can use are Inkscape and GIMP (a free photoshop alternative).
Which files should I use for print?
It really depends. The PNG files are of high quality and could be used for smaller prints, like notebooks, business cards, flyers, or backgrounds. The Vector .Ai Files are better for larger prints, like textiles or banners.
Besides, the vector files are seamless, this means you will never see a seam if you want to scale the design. So I suggest you always use the Ai files. But it depends on the project I guess.
Please note that the raster files (JPG & PNG) are in RGB. You will have to change them to CMYK if you want to use them for print.
What is a seamless pattern file?
A seamless pattern is an image or texture that can be duplicated and positioned next to one another without showing any noticeable borders or separators. These patterns allow you to create a single design that can be endlessly repeated to create one-of-a-kind backgrounds, fabrics, and textiles.
