How to use these vector illustrations?
After your purchase, you will receive a download link with the zip file, containing all 30 vector recycle images.
All illustrations are of High-quality and the PNG + Ai files are included in the ZIP file.
The Ai images can be opened in vector editing software such as Adobe Illustrator or a free tool like Inkscape, and the PNG images are 3500×2189 pixels. The vector files are the original files that can be used to edit the illustrations, such as scaling or recoloring them. The AI files are the most crucial, especially if you want to edit them or export them to bigger sizes.
All illustrations can be colored differently. You could, for instance, change the background colors, add or remove elements, etc. With a little creativity, you can customize and produce diverse variations for each vector illustration. I leave that up to your creativity.
All illustrations in this pack can be used for whatever project you like, this could be digital projects such as banners, ads, social media posts, or backgrounds, or print, such as flyers, covers, posters, business cards, etc.
Ron Hoekstra created every single component by hand. The AI images can also be used to scale, change colors, and do anything else. A minimum of Adobe Illustrator 10 is needed.

Are the images in vector?
Yes. All the vector illustrations have been created using Adobe Illustrator and are vector based. Please make sure you have at least Adobe Illustrator 10. You can also open them with other programs like GIMP, Inkscape, or Photoshop.
How many colors are the vector images?
The vector images have been saved as RGB full-color images. You can edit the colors using a vector editing tool such as Adobe Illustrator.
Are these vector and PNG images free to use?
No, you have to purchase the images. After the purchase, you can use them for your projects, personally and commercially. These images are not free and may not be distributed without permission.
You are not allowed to upload these illustrations to free-to-download websites such as Pixabay, Pexels, or similar sites.
Can I resell these vector or PNG images?
No. These vector and PNG images can not be sold again in the same way they were on this website. You may not represent that the images are your property and offer them for sale on your own or other websites. This includes but is not limited to stock websites such as Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Istockphoto, etc.
Can I scale these recycle vector images?
Yes, you can enlarge the vector files as much as you like. They can be scaled infinitely because they are created using so-called vectors. Although very high quality, the PNG files cannot be scaled too much.
Does the download include PNG files?
Yes. The download includes PNG. PNGs are raster-based images that can directly be used for your design project. The PNG files have a white background.
Can I edit the colors from these illustrations?
Yes, you can. Using a vector-based program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape, you can edit the colors. And for some designs, you might also use Photoshop to do that.
How do I know if a file is a vector?
A file is a vector if it’s composed of paths, not pixels, using mathematical equations for scalable, high-quality graphics. To determine if a file is vector, check the file extension: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF. Confirm by opening in vector software such as Adobe Illustrator.
What are vector illustrations?
Files saved in common vector file formats like AI, PDF, or EPS are considered vector files, unlike PNG files, which are raster files. Vector images can be resized or enlarged without losing sharpness. Any size with perfect resolution can be printed from the vector graphic after saving it. Even when the image is resized, the graphics can still be used on the Internet without losing quality.
Can I share the downloaded vector illustrations with other people?
No, you are not allowed to do that. After you purchase the files, you are obligated to not share the files and only use them yourself. If somebody else wants to use them as well, please refer to this page.
Do I have to give attribution?
No, in this case, you do not need to give credit, it would be appreciated but it’s not mandatory.
Is a JPG or PNG a vector file?
No, JPGs and .PNGs are “raster” files, which means they’re made of pixels. Vector graphics are made of mathematical formulas which can be adjusted infinitely without losing their resolution.
Is vector better than PNG?
It depends on the use case. Vector images are better for graphics that need to be resized frequently or need to maintain crisp lines and details, as they are resolution independent. Popular vector file formats include AI, EPS, SVG, and PDF.
On the other hand, PNG (Portable Network Graphics) is a raster image format that is best for graphics with a limited number of colors, like logos, icons, and illustrations with flat color areas. PNGs are great for web use as they support transparency and are lossless, meaning they don’t lose quality when edited. It’s best to choose the format that best fits your project’s needs.
Which files should I use for print?
It really depends. The PNG files are of high quality and could be used for smaller prints, like notebooks, business cards, flyers, or backgrounds. The Vector .Ai Files are better for larger prints, like textiles or banners.
Please note that the raster files (PNG) are in RGB. You will have to change them to CMYK if you want to use them for print.
